On March 8th, I participated in the International Women’s Day event #BreakTheBias at Chichester Festival Theatre. Stand-up comedian and writer Jen Brister hosted myself; CFT’s Executive Direcor Kathy Bourne; and founder of the African Women’s Forum and retired nurse and teacher Marie Costa for a talk about our lives, careers and breaking biases.
Being able to share my experience with such a diverse panel and an engaged audience was great, and I came out of it having gained valuable experience. Please check my feedback section to see some of the response I received on my appearance.
